SkyWater has been engaged by a large, industry-leading, privately held organization to find their next Senior HR Business Partner.

This role is ideal for a strategic HR practitioner who is naturally curious, business-minded, and energized by building strong relationships with leaders and teams. The Senior HR Business Partner will serve as a trusted advisor to align people strategies with business objectives, support multiple business groups, and drive key talent initiatives in partnership with senior leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the primary HR Business Partner for assigned business units, partnering with leadership to drive talent and organizational initiatives
  • Collaborate with leaders to address complex people management matters through coaching, problem-solving, and solution implementation
  • Lead an HR process improvement initiative focused on strengthening collaboration between HR Business Partners, Centers of Excellence, and HR Operations
  • Support deployment of core HR programs, including performance management, compensation planning, and enterprise HR initiatives
  • Partner with leaders on organizational effectiveness, team performance, and change-related initiatives
  • Contribute to special projects such as process simplification, policy implementation, and high-performing team facilitation
  • Use HR data and insights to inform recommendations and drive business decisions

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field
  • 8+ years of progressive Human Resources experience
  • Strong working knowledge of HR disciplines including talent management, employee relations, compensation, and project management
  • Demonstrated ability to influence and coach leaders at multiple levels
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication abilities with high attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, evolving environment
  • Proven ability to lead projects independently and drive results
  • Willingness to travel approximately 20–30%
