Senior Accountant
We’re partnering with a growing, operationally focused manufacturing organization seeking a hands-on accounting professional who wants more than just a “close and report” role. This is a highly visible position where you’ll partner cross-functionally, influence decision-making, and play a key role in improving cost accuracy, operational efficiency, and financial performance.

Responsibilities
- Support month-end close, including journal entries, reconciliations, and financial reporting
- Maintain the integrity of the general ledger and ensure accurate financial results
- Partner with corporate finance to deliver monthly and quarterly reporting
- Analyze production variances (labor, materials, overhead) and identify key drivers
- Monitor inventory, cycle counts, and fixed assets to ensure accuracy
- Support standard cost updates, including labor and overhead rate calculations
- Review purchase price variances (PPV) and partner with procurement on cost improvements
- Collaborate with operations, supply chain, and purchasing to improve efficiency and reduce costs
- Support budgeting and forecasting with accurate cost data and insights
- Provide ad hoc analysis that helps leadership make better decisions
- Identify process improvements across accounting and operations
- Contribute to inventory reduction initiatives and excess/obsolete analysis

Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- 3–5+ years of accounting experience (manufacturing strongly preferred)
- Solid understanding of cost accounting principles and inventory processes
- Strong Excel skills and comfort working with large data sets
- Experience with ERP systems (SAP or similar preferred)
- Analytical mindset—you don’t just report numbers, you explain them
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced, evolving environment without losing attention to detail
