Sales Representative – Data Center Infrastructure
Our client is a rapidly scaling, private equity-backed manufacturing business. They are expanding their commercial team to support significant growth in the data center infrastructure market. The company specializes in power and electrical solutions and serves a wide network of contractors, developers, and end users tied to large-scale data center builds across the nation.
They have recently achieved substantial revenue growth and with a clear path to doubling the business over the next several years, the organization is investing heavily in building out the team with strong talent. This is a high-visibility opportunity to join a company in an accelerated growth phase, with strong leadership, clear strategic direction, and a focus on execution.
This role is designed as a hands-on, high-impact position supporting field sales leaders in driving new business and expanding market presence. Working closely with senior sales team members, this individual will play a critical role in building pipeline and supporting active opportunities.
Responsibilities
- Drive outbound prospecting efforts, including cold outreach and lead qualification
- Support opportunity development through CRM management, quoting, and follow-up
- Assist with interpreting project requirements and coordinating pre-sales activities
- Partner with field sales on customer engagement and occasional travel
- Contribute to territory growth by identifying and pursuing new opportunities
Desired Skills and Experience
- 2–5+ years of experience in outside sales, inside sales, or sales support within a technical or industrial environment
- Exposure to electrical systems, construction, data centers, or adjacent industries is beneficial
- Strong work ethic with a proactive, “hunter” mindset and desire to grow into a closing role
- Comfortable operating in a fast-paced, evolving environment with high expectation
