Staff Accountant
I’m thrilled to be partnering with one of my favorite clients to add a Staff Accountant to their team. This is a company I’ve worked with extensively over the years, placing multiple individuals across their accounting and finance function, and I know the hiring manager extremely well (15+ years!). It’s a collaborative, high-quality team that truly lives its values and invests in its people.
This is not a traditional “heads down” accounting role. The position sits at the intersection of accounting and operations, supporting the full lifecycle of project-based accounting within a professional services environment. You’ll be involved from the beginning of a project through invoicing, including reviewing Statements of Work (SOWs), setting up projects in the system, tracking time and materials, and ensuring accurate billing and revenue flow.
What they’re looking for:
- 2+ years of accounting experience
- Experience working in an ERP environment; NetSuite is a plus
- Project accounting experience is a must, including managing projects from setup through invoicing (T&M, fixed fee, etc.)
- Ability to track and manage time, materials, and project-related financial data
This role is highly cross-functional and offers strong visibility across the business. The team is looking for someone who is detail-oriented, collaborative, and eager to learn — someone who wants to build their skillset in a hands-on environment.
