SkyWater Search Partners is representing one of our long-standing, growth-oriented industrial distribution clients as the organization is seeking a well-rounded HR Generalist to support a broad range of human resources functions. This is a highly visible, hands-on role supporting day-to-day HR operations while also contributing to key strategic initiatives, including HRIS implementation and process improvements.

This individual will partner closely with leadership and act as a true “do-it-all” HR resource, supporting everything from recruiting and employee relations to payroll and compliance.

The salary range for this position is between $65,000 – $95,000 (based on experience) + full benefits.

Responsibilities

Talent Acquisition & Onboarding -Manage full-cycle recruiting (posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing, offers) -Lead onboarding and offboarding processes to ensure strong employee experience Employee Relations & Engagement -Serve as a primary point of contact for employee questions, concerns, and conflict resolution -Conduct investigations and support performance management processes -Drive engagement initiatives and culture-building efforts HR Operations & Compliance -Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws (FMLA, FLSA, ADA, etc.) -Maintain and update policies, procedures, and employee handbook -Manage HR records and reporting requirements Payroll, Benefits & HRIS -Process payroll and administer benefits programs -Partner with finance to ensure accuracy and compliance -Maintain and optimize HRIS data and reporting Performance Management & Development -Support leadership with reviews, coaching, and employee development -Assist in training initiatives and career pathing efforts Strategic & Project Work -Support HRIS implementation and system improvements -Analyze HR metrics (turnover, headcount, etc.) to inform decision-making -Partner with leadership on ongoing HR strategy and organizational needs
