Staff Accountant
Our client, a well-established and growing manufacturing organization in Central Minnesota, is seeking a Staff Accountant to join its corporate finance team. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career accounting professional looking to gain broad exposure across financial reporting, manufacturing accounting, process improvement, and cross-functional business support within a collaborative environment.
Reporting directly to accounting leadership, this individual will play a key role in month-end close, reconciliations, journal entries, variance analysis, financial reporting, audit support, budgeting activities, and finance transformation initiatives.
The organization is continuing to invest heavily in its accounting infrastructure and is specifically looking for someone who embraces technology and enjoys finding smarter, more efficient ways to work — including leveraging automation and AI tools to improve accounting processes and reporting visibility.
Desired Skills and Experience
- 1–3+ years of accounting experience
- Public accounting audit OR corporate accounting experience
- Exposure to month-end close and general ledger accounting
- Strong Excel skills
- ERP experience; NetSuite preferred
- Manufacturing exposure is a plus
