Senior Revenue Accountant
We are partnering with a fast-growing SaaS organization looking to add to their accounting team. This person will support revenue recognition, financial reporting, and process improvement across a dynamic accounting function. This is a strong opportunity for someone who enjoys technical accounting, contract review, cross-functional partnership, and helping build scalable processes in a growing environment.

This is a hybrid opportunity with three in-office days per month.
Responsibilities
- Support the month-end close process, including journal entries, reconciliations, revenue transactions, and revenue reporting
- Review customer contracts and apply appropriate revenue recognition treatment under ASC 606
- Prepare revenue recognition memos, contract documentation, and technical accounting assessments
- Review and approve revenue arrangements within NetSuite
- Partner with order entry, billing, finance, and business teams to ensure contracts are processed accurately
- Identify and communicate revenue-related risks, opportunities, and forecast impacts
- Support SOX compliance, internal controls, audit requests, and control testing
- Help improve accounting workflows, documentation, and scalable processes
- Partner cross-functionally on process improvement and automation initiatives
- Use Excel and reporting tools to analyze data and support accounting recommendations
- Support thoughtful adoption of AI and automation within accounting workflows
Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- 2+ years of relevant accounting experience
- Strong understanding of US GAAP
- Exposure to SOX, public company reporting, or audit support
- Experience with revenue recognition, technical accounting, or complex accounting workstreams
- CPA or progress toward CPA strongly preferred
- Strong Excel skills and comfort working with large datasets
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and communicate clearly across teams
