Business Development Manager – Industrial
SkyWater is partnering with a thriving plastics manufacturing company backed by a private investment firm renowned for significantly boosting companies’ revenue and long-term stable ownership. They are seeking a Business Development Manager that offers remote work, local travel, a competitive compensation package, and ample room for professional advancement.
As the Business Development Manager, you will drive business growth, lead outreach efforts, and expand the existing territory and customers while collaborating with the internal team and peers. Reporting directly to the President, this position calls for a candidate with a background in industrial manufacturing, plastics, or contract manufacturing.

Responsibilities
- Heavy on new business development, outreach, and building out territory.
- Maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Working alongside another BDR to generate success and wins.
- Target new industries and support diversification strategies by establishing relationships in new verticals that include but are not limited to medical, aerospace, etc.
- Serve as a voice of the organization by being forward-facing with customers to build relationships with new and existing accounts.
Desired Skills and Experience
- College degree or technical degree in Business Administration, Engineering, Design, Plastics, or related field is required.
- 5-10+ years of sales experience.
- Manufacturing sales experience required, with preference for plastic injection molding or mold making.
