A growing global leader in high-precision motion control technology has partnered with us exclusively to find a technically sharp, self-driven Product Marketing Manager to join their Minneapolis-area team.

This company builds advanced motion control systems used inside the most demanding machines on the planet – semiconductor manufacturing, genome sequencing, laser microprocessing, and electronics production. Their products are trusted by OEM engineers who need sub-nanometer precision and zero tolerance for failure. They’re small enough that every person on the team has real impact, and experienced enough (40+ years) that you’ll have senior mentors who’ve already walked the path you’re on.

This is a role open due to promotion, built and shaped by the hiring manager who had this role previously. You’ll step in with a clear runway, an existing content library, and a team with 20+ years of combined product marketing experience across the US, Germany, and Israel. Day one you’re driving go-to-market execution, building out a technical content library, and getting hands-on with voice-of-customer research across a global OEM customer base. Base pay starting at $120k+.

Minneapolis-area location preferred. Remote will be considered for candidates with direct motion control industry backgrounds.

Responsibilities

  • Build and execute go-to-market plans for product and feature launches, including messaging, value propositions, and sales training materials
  • Create and maintain a portfolio of technical marketing content - datasheets, white papers, application stories, video scripts, webinars, and social media
  • Conduct structured voice-of-customer research with OEM engineers, product managers, and executives to capture market trends, application requirements, and competitive intelligence
  • Analyze competitors' products, strategies, and market activity
  • Maintain an internal competitive intelligence database and educate the global sales team
  • Drive adoption of AI-native workflows to accelerate content creation, market research, and competitive analysis across the marketing function

Desired Skills and Experience

  • Engineering background (EE, ME, or related) with 1+ years as a design engineer or applications engineer in industrial automation or motion control preferred
  • 1+ years of product management or product marketing experience - application engineering experience considered
  • Strong written and presentation skills - comfortable creating technical content and presenting to global OEM audiences
  • Self-starter who can own a space, set priorities, and operate with minimal structure in a lean, high-impact team environment
  • Motion control or precision automation experience a plus
  • Hands-on with AI tools for content, research, or competitive intelligence a bonus
