A national law firm is seeking a 2nd–4th year associate (law school graduation class of 2022–2024) to join its Commercial Litigation Practice Group in the firm’s Orlando office.

Qualifications
Qualified candidates must be strong and persuasive legal writers and oral advocates and have experience with complex business litigation matters in state and federal courts, including conducting and managing written and document discovery, researching and drafting pleadings, motions, and other court filings, conducting and defending depositions, preparing witnesses for testimony, appearing for status conferences, and arguing motions in both state and federal court. Participation in settlement conferences and negotiations and experience with trial preparation is preferred.

The ideal candidate will have a positive attitude, strong interpersonal skills, an exceptional work ethic, and must be comfortable having direct interaction with partners and clients. The firm seeks a well-rounded, dynamic, highly motivated lawyer who has demonstrated an ability to thrive in a sophisticated practice in a busy, collaborative environment, to assist with advancing the long-term strategic objectives of its Litigation Department. Requirements
Top academics required. Candidates must hold a JD from an ABA-approved law school and must be in good standing and an active member of the Florida Bar. Interested applicants should submit a resume, law school transcript, and writing sample.

Compensation & Benefits
The expected salary range for this position is $240,000–$290,000. Actual pay will be determined based on education, experience, internal pay equity, and other job-related factors permitted by law.
