IT Manager
Overview
A well-established, privately held company in the Twin Cities is seeking an IT Manager to lead its technology function. This is a hands-on leadership role responsible for supporting day-to-day IT operations while helping guide the organization’s systems and infrastructure forward.
This opportunity is open due to a planned retirement, offering the chance to step into a stable environment and make a meaningful impact.
What You’ll Do
- Oversee daily IT operations including infrastructure, systems, and end-user support
- Manage core business applications, including ERP and other internal systems
- Partner with leadership to align technology with business needs
- Lead IT projects such as upgrades, implementations, and integrations
- Ensure cybersecurity, system reliability, and data integrity
- Manage external vendors and technology partners
- Provide hands-on troubleshooting and support as needed
What We’re Looking For
- 5–10+ years of IT experience with ownership of systems or environments
- Experience in small-to-mid-sized company settings
- Strong background in Microsoft technologies (Windows, O365, Active Directory, networking)
- Experience with ERP systems and business applications
- Ability to operate both strategically and hands-on
- Strong communication skills and business partnership mindset
Preferred Background
- Experience in manufacturing, distribution, or industrial environments
- Exposure to system improvements, integrations, or modernization efforts
