Accounting Manager
I’m thrilled to be kicking off an Accounting Manager search with a growing, PE-backed manufacturing company. I’ve known the President for years, well before he joined the organization, and I’m excited to partner with him on this hire!
The company has a long history in the Twin Cities and has maintained much of its family-owned feel while entering an exciting new phase of growth. They have been actively growing through acquisition and expect that growth to continue.
The Accounting Manager will report to the Director of Finance and have one direct report. This is a broad, hands-on role that will include month-end close, reconciliations, AP, payroll, fixed assets, financial analysis and process improvement. Over time, this person will also gain exposure to cost accounting, special projects and acquisition-related work.
What they’re looking for:
- A four-year Accounting degree is required.
- Strong foundational accounting skills and the ability to independently problem-solve are important.
- Manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.
- Previous management experience is not required.
- This could be a great opportunity for a strong Senior Accountant ready to step into their first Manager role!
- The role is onsite five days per week in the eastern Twin Cities metro.
Also super exciting – there is meaningful long-term growth potential as well, including a potential path to Controller!
