Multi-Site Plant Manager
We are partnering with a metal fab client seeking a Plant Manager to lead two sites in MN. These facilities are entering a significant period of growth, so this person will need to be comfortable with the pace of scaling the sites quickly.
This leader will oversee daily operations across both locations while developing the people, processes and operating plans needed to support continued growth.
Responsibilities:
- Lead manufacturing operations across both facilities
- Build plans around capacity, staffing, scheduling and backlog
- Drive safety, quality, delivery and productivity
- Develop supervisors and strengthen accountability throughout the organization
- Maintain a visible, hands-on presence with employees
- Partner closely with engineering, quality, sales and executive leadership
- Support major customer launches, capital investments and process improvements
Qualifications:
- Manufacturing leadership experience in metal fabrication or a closely related environment
- Knowledge of processes such as laser cutting, forming, welding, machining, finishing or assembly
- Experience leading supervisors and cross-functional teams
- Strong planning, analytical and communication skills
- Demonstrated success leading growth, operational change or backlog recovery
- Positive, credible and hands-on leadership style
