Influencer & Community Manager

We’re partnering with a leading toy and collectibles brand to find an Influencer & Community Manager who will help shape the way the brand connects with creators, fans, and enthusiast communities!

This is an exciting opportunity for someone who thrives at the intersection of influencer marketing, community, fandom, and brand. The right person will be equally comfortable thinking strategically about the big picture and rolling up their sleeves to execute. You’ll join a small but mighty marketing team where collaboration, adaptability, and a true player-coach mindset are essential.

What You’ll Do

As the Influencer & Community Manager, you’ll serve as a key bridge between the brand, content creators, and its passionate collector community. You’ll lead and grow influencer and affiliate programs, build meaningful creator partnerships, monitor community sentiment, and help turn customer feedback and emerging trends into actionable insights.

You’ll help expand an existing influencer program while identifying new opportunities across gaming, anime, collectibles, and other enthusiast communities. This is a highly cross-functional role that will partner closely with marketing, customer service, and product teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute influencer, creator, and community engagement strategies.

  • Build, manage, and grow relationships with content creators, influencers, affiliates, and community partners.

  • Lead the day-to-day administration of influencer and affiliate programs, including creator records, agreements, tracking, deliverables, compliance, and payment coordination.

  • Identify opportunities to expand the brand’s presence within gaming, anime, collectibles, and other enthusiast-driven communities.

  • Track influencer performance, affiliate revenue, engagement, and overall program effectiveness.

  • Serve as a primary voice across social and community channels, engaging with comments, questions, and reviews while partnering with customer service on escalations.

  • Monitor brand sentiment, reputation, and emerging conversations across social platforms, reviews, forums, and community channels.

  • Act as the voice of the collector by identifying trends, feedback, and opportunities that can inform customer experience and marketing strategy.

  • Partner cross-functionally to translate community insights into meaningful action.

  • Bring both strategic thinking and hands-on execution to the role — helping shape the direction of the program while staying deeply involved in the day-to-day work.

What We’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of experience in influencer marketing, affiliate marketing, community management, or a related discipline.

  • Experience building and managing influencer partnerships and creator relationships.

  • Experience working on a small, high-performing team where you’ve had the opportunity to own both strategy and execution.

  • A true player-coach mindset — someone who enjoys thinking big while also getting into the details and making things happen.

  • Strong experience with social and community channels, including platforms such as Reddit, Meta, X, YouTube, Google Business, and Discord.

  • Experience within ecommerce, retail, gaming, collectibles, anime, hobby, or other enthusiast-focused industries is preferred.

  • Experience with influencer management tools such as Sprout or Klear is a plus.

  • Exceptional relationship-building, communication, and networking skills.

  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.

  • A highly collaborative approach with the ability to work effectively across internal teams and external partners.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Location

The ideal candidate will be based in Minnesota or Wisconsin and able to travel occasionally to the company’s Somerset, Wisconsin headquarters.
