Master Scheduler
We’re excited to partner with a growing, employee-owned specialty manufacturing organization on a Master Scheduler search to lead production planning and scheduling across a high-mix, high-volume manufacturing environment. This is an opportunity for an analytical, solutions-oriented professional to make a visible impact on production flow, inventory performance, capacity utilization, and customer delivery.
Reporting to operations leadership, you will serve as a central coordinator across Manufacturing, Purchasing, Sales, Customer Service, Quality, Warehouse, and Logistics. You will balance demand, capacity, labor, equipment, and material availability while developing executable production schedules that support business priorities.
Responsibilities
- Develop, maintain, and optimize master production schedules across manufacturing and packaging operations.
- Analyze capacity, inventory, labor, and material constraints to improve efficiency and on-time delivery.
- Maintain ERP/MRP planning data, scheduling parameters, production orders, and performance reporting.
- Partner cross-functionally to resolve scheduling conflicts and continuously improve planning processes.
- Support capacity planning, inventory optimization, and data-driven operational decisions.
Desired Skills and Experience
- A relevant bachelor's degree is preferred; equivalent experience will be considered.
- Ideally 8+ years of manufacturing production planning, scheduling, or supply chain experience.
- Strong ERP/MRP, advanced scheduling, Excel, and reporting capabilities.
- High-mix/high-volume manufacturing experience; chemical, blending, or batch processing is advantageous.
- A collaborative, adaptable professional who takes ownership and thrives in a hands-on environment.
