Environmental, Health, and Safety Manager
SkyWater is partnering with an established global industrial equipment manufacturer to hire an EHS Manager for its U.S. operations. This newly created position will lead the development and standardization of safety and environmental programs across two manufacturing facilities.
Reporting directly to the Global VP of Operations, this individual will have the opportunity to build a more proactive safety culture, strengthen compliance practices, and establish consistent systems and processes. The ideal candidate combines hands-on manufacturing & industrial experience with the ability to develop practical programs, influence plant leadership, and drive measurable improvements across multiple sites.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement standardized EHS programs across two U.S. manufacturing locations.
- Lead OSHA compliance, incident investigations, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions.
- Establish safety KPIs, reporting processes, and proactive risk-prevention initiatives.
- Coordinate environmental permitting, regulatory compliance, and reporting.
- Build employee engagement through safety training, committees, and continuous improvement.
- Conduct facility assessments, audits, and hazard identification activities.
- Support sustainability initiatives and environmental data collection.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Progressive EHS experience in an industrial manufacturing environment.
- Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, workplace safety, and incident investigation.
- Experience developing, implementing, or improving EHS management systems.
- Working knowledge of environmental compliance, permitting, and reporting.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant discipline; CSP, CIH, or CHMM certification preferred.
