Global Demand Planning Manager
SkyWater Search Partners is partnering with a global industrial equipment manufacturer to hire a Global Demand Planning Manager. This newly created position will build, develop, and implement a formal SIOP process across multiple global business units.
The organization operates in a high-mix, low-volume manufacturing environment and is investing in stronger supply chain processes to improve forecasting, inventory management, and customer delivery. This position reports to the Global Director of Supply Chain and offers the opportunity to establish a planning function from the ground up.
Travel may be required up to 20%, this is an onsite position.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement a global SIOP/S&OP process.
- Build demand forecasting, reporting, and review processes.
- Partner with Sales, Finance, Manufacturing, and Procurement to align business plans.
- Improve inventory accuracy, working capital, and inventory levels.
- Identify opportunities to reduce supplier and manufacturing lead times.
- Improve on-time delivery through stronger planning and communication.
- Establish planning metrics, standard processes, and eventually build a team.
Desired Skills and Experience
- 8+ years of demand planning, supply chain planning, or SIOP/S&OP experience.
- 3+ years working in global or multi-regional operations.
- Demonstrated experience building and implementing SIOP/S&OP processes.
- Strong analytical, ERP, Excel, and business intelligence skills.
- Experience working across functions in manufacturing or industrial environments.
