Account Manager
We’re hiring a Retail Account Manager to support key retail partnerships from the company’s downtown Minneapolis office. This role acts as the link between vendor partners and merchandising and planning teams, driving forecasting, inventory flow, item setup, and overall operational performance.
Ideal candidates have direct experience working with Target (retail or vendor side), strong analytical skills, and a solid understanding of replenishment and retail systems. This is a collaborative, high-visibility role.
$75K – $80K base with up to 30% year end bonus potential.
Hybrid: In office 3 days a week in downtown Minneapolis
Must have 1-4 years of Target experience
Responsibilities
- Act as the retail relationship manager between vendors and a leading retail partner
- Lead forecasting and demand alignment to support strong sell-through and inventory health
- Identify and resolve in-stock and replenishment gaps
- Review operational scorecards and performance data to uncover trends and drive improvements
- Oversee purchase order activity and ensure accurate, timely execution
- Manage item creation and maintenance within the retailer’s internal systems
- Deliver regular sales and inventory insights to vendor partners
- Maintain accurate pricing, product, and program data across internal platforms
- Partner cross-functionally
Desired Skills and Experience
- Four-year college degree preferred
- 1-4 years’ experience working with Target
- Functional knowledge of MS Excel
- Effective negotiation and communication skills
