Accounting Manager – Manufacturing (Track to Controller)
Work Schedule: Onsite 4 days a week
We are partnering with a growing manufacturing company in Minneapolis to hire an Accounting Manager who will serve as the financial backbone of the organization.
This role leads day-to-day accounting operations while partnering directly with executive leadership. The Accounting Manager will oversee month-end close, cost accounting, and budgeting support while focusing on buildingscalable financial processes as the business grows.
Responsibilities:
- Month end close and financial statement preparation
- Cost accounting structure: BOMs, routings, labor/overhead rates, job costing
- AP/AR oversight and internal controls
- Process improvement
- Budgeting, forecasting, and operational variance analysis
- Mentoring and training of the accounting team
Experience:
- 5+ years experience in manufacturing
- Strong cost accounting expertise
- Ownership mindset with strong communication skills
- No task too small mentality, willing to jump in and help out wherever is needed
