Assistant Project Manager

Our client is a growing construction firm with a strong track record of delivering high-quality multifamily housing projects on time and on budget. We are seeking an Assistant Project Manager (APM) to support the successful execution of projects from preconstruction through closeout. This is a high-visibility role offering direct exposure to company leadership, project strategy, and the subcontractor network.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in managing the full lifecycle of construction projects from bidding through closeout
  • Support preconstruction efforts including document organization, bid coordination, and scope review
  • Develop relationships with subcontractors and gain deep familiarity with the local trade community
  • Help track project schedules, budgets, and progress milestones

Desired Skills and Experience

  • 1–3 years of experience in construction project management, project engineering, or field engineering preferred
  • Proficiency in construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project) is a plus
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
