Design Engineer
We are partnering with a growing, innovation-driven consumer products company to identify a Design Engineer to join their product development team. This organization designs and delivers high-volume consumer goods sold through major national retailers and is actively expanding into new product categories.
This is an opportunity to take full ownership of product development, working from concept through production in a fast-paced, highly collaborative environment. Ideal for engineers who want to move beyond siloed roles and have a direct impact on products in the market.
Responsibilities
- Lead product development from concept through manufacturing
- Create 3D CAD models, drawings, and product specifications
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product management, sales, and industrial design
- Work directly with global manufacturing partners to transition designs into production
- Conduct product testing, analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives
- Support new product category development and innovation efforts
Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 3–7+ years of product development experience
- Proficiency in 3D CAD (SolidWorks preferred)
- Experience with manufacturing processes such as injection molding, metal fabrication, or similar
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to manage multiple projects
- Experience working with overseas manufacturers is a plus
