Director of Cybersecurity & Infrastructure (Minnesota-only)
SkyWater has been retained by a an exciting SaaS company in the Twin Cities in hiring its next CyberSecurity and Infrastructure Leader. We are looking for someone to own security, DevOps, and infrastructure as one person, not as three separate functions split across a team.
This is a company that has grown quickly, is well regarded locally, and is early enough that what you build in the next two years will still be the foundation five years from now.

Responsibilities
- Own product and corporate security for the company - Own DevOps, site reliability, and infrastructure, including hands on work in a public cloud - Own the company's SOC 2 and related compliance and accreditation work - Carry basic IT ownership, including laptops, access, and vendor relationships - Manage and grow a small team - Write infrastructure as code and review pull requests directly, this is not a role that sits above the work - Be the primary security voice in the room, weighing in on what controls and process actually make sense at this stage of the company
Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in a technical field - SaaS and cloud native background, AWS specifically - Direct, end to end ownership of a compliance or accreditation program, not just involvement in one - Comfort being the only security function in a small, fast moving company - Judgment about what security and process should look like at an early stage company versus a larger one - Open to first time people managers, since this will stay a small team for a while - Local to Minnesota - No sponsorship
