Engineering Manager
A growing, contract manufacturing client of ours is seeking an Engineering Manager to lead its advanced design engineering team.
This role blends hands-on technical leadership with people management, overseeing complex hydraulic and structural designs that position the company as a long-term strategic partner to customers.
Key responsibilities:
- Lead and develop a small team of high-impact design engineers
- Drive hydraulic system and structural fabrication design (tanks, reservoirs, assemblies)
- Serve as a senior technical interface with OEM customers
- Ensure designs meet manufacturability, cost, quality, and performance targets
- Support innovation efforts including patents and differentiated solutions
Ideal background:
- Engineering leadership experience (not first-time manager)
- Deep exposure to hydraulics, fluid dynamics
- Strong understanding of welding
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, low-bureaucracy environment
