General Manager
We are partnering with a growing medical device CDMO seeking a General Manager to lead a large manufacturing organization through its next phase of growth and transformation. This leader will oversee a broad operations team, improve performance, and help bring greater consistency and alignment across a complex multi-site environment.
Base compensation is in the $240-280k range.
Responsibilities
- Oversee manufacturing, engineering, supply chain, continuous improvement, facilities, and related operations functions.
- Drive operational transformation, including site integration, organizational change, process improvement, and culture alignment.
- Establish clear KPIs, accountability, and operating rhythms across functions.
- Partner quality, commercial, and executive leadership to support customer needs, new product introduction, and scalable growth.
- Manage a significant operating budget and P&L while balancing delivery, quality, productivity, and financial performance.
Desired Skills and Experience
- 10+ years of progressive manufacturing and operations leadership experience, preferably within a medical device or CDMO environment.
- 4+ years leading managers and senior functional leaders, with experience overseeing teams of 200+.
- Strong background in manufacturing engineering, mechanical engineering, operations engineering, or a related area.
- Relevant bachelor’s degree required.
- Lean, Six Sigma, Black Belt, or comparable continuous improvement experience preferred.
- Proven experience leading transformation, integration, consolidation, site transfers, or other significant organizational change.
- Experience managing a $100M+ P&L or similarly scaled operation preferred.
