IT Manager
We have been engaged by a professional services organization that is mission-driven to find their next IT Manager and top internal technology leader. This is a unique opportunity for someone who wants to step into a highly visible, hands on leadership role with the ability to build, shape, and influence the future of IT.
HQ locally with a national presence (offices also in NY & CA) having experience with multisite support and geographically distributed teams will be valuable. Responsibilities
* Own the IT roadmap, infrastructure, cybersecurity, vendor strategy, and day-to-day technology operations * Help build out the internal IT function, including evaluating the current team structure, replacing outside consultants with internal capabilities where needed, and determining where MSP/vendor partnerships make sense * Significant opportunity to improve and mature the technical environment * Not an ivory tower leadership position, and you'll be expected to think strategically while still getting into the weeds as needed * Cybersecurity will be a major focus
Desired Skills and Experience
* Strong infrastructure and IT operations leadership experience * Deep understanding of cybersecurity and incident response * Experience managing vendors, consultants, and technology partners * Ability to build and lead a lean internal IT team * Comfortable balancing strategy, roadmap development, and hands-on execution * Experience in environments such as SharePoint, CRM/Dynamics, networking, and enterprise technology infrastructure is valuable * Certifications such as CISSP or CCNP would be a plus * Any experience working in the legal domain is a big plus
