We’re partnering with a growing industrial equipment company in the Twin Cities looking to add a Senior Electrical Engineer to their team.
Summary:
- Own embedded hardware design from early concept through production release
- Design and develop PCBAs (schematics, layout, bring-up, and validation)
- Work with FPGA and processor-based systems to support overall system architecture
- Translate customer and internal requirements into practical, manufacturable designs
- Build and test prototypes, working through real-world performance challenges
- Troubleshoot issues tied to reliability, performance, and manufacturability
- Partner closely with firmware, mechanical, and manufacturing teams to get products out the door
- Continuously improve existing designs and drive practical engineering solutions
Requirements:
- 6+ years in electrical engineering with a strong focus on embedded hardware
- Deep experience with PCB design and system-level thinking
- Exposure to FPGA and/or processor-based architectures
- Comfortable working in Altium or similar tools
- Background in industrial equipment, automation, or similar environments is helpful
- Someone who likes being hands-on, solving problems, and seeing their work in production
