Location: North Metro, MN (Onsite)
Compensation: $115,000–$135,000

Our client is a privately held, founder-led organization in Coon Rapids, Minnesota in the construction and exterior restoration industry. The company has experienced steady growth and is continuing to expand across multiple states. With a strong reputation built on integrity, quality craftsmanship, and customer trust, the organization is focused on strengthening internal systems to support its next phase of growth.
They are seeking a Director of Human Resources to lead core HR operations with a strong emphasis on multi-state compliance, safety oversight, employee lifecycle management, and scalable HR systems.
What You’ll Own

Lead and manage day-to-day HR operations across a multi-state workforce

Build and maintain compliant HR processes, policies, and SOPs aligned to company growth

Oversee employee onboarding, offboarding, and personnel file accuracy across all states

Strengthen safety training, OSHA coordination, and compliance documentation in partnership with Operations

Ensure adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws, including timekeeping and wage compliance

Manage employee relations matters with fairness, consistency, and discretion

Oversee benefits administration, workers’ compensation, unemployment claims, and HR vendors

Support subcontractor onboarding and compliance tracking

Partner closely with Operations leadership to ensure HR practices support field and office teams
