  • Lead and manage the day-to-day operations of the manufacturing facility, ensuring production targets are met while maintaining quality, safety, and efficiency standards.
  • Develop and implement manufacturing strategies to optimize production processes, reduce costs, and improve overall operational performance.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to production teams, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, quality assurance, and supply chain, to ensure seamless coordination and execution of manufacturing activities.
  • Monitor production schedules and resource allocation to ensure timely delivery of products while maximizing equipment utilization and minimizing downtime.
  • Implement and maintain quality control measures to ensure products meet customer specifications and regulatory requirements.
  • Drive initiatives for process improvement, waste reduction, and inventory management to enhance operational efficiency and profitability.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and company policies, promoting a safe work environment for all employees.
  • Develop and maintain performance metrics and KPIs to track progress, identify areas for improvement, and drive operational excellence.


  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or related field. 2 Year degree may be considered with strong experience.
  • Strong technical knowledge of plastic manufacturing processes, including injection molding, extrusion, thermoforming and blow molding.
  • Proven leadership skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire teams to achieve production goals and drive continuous improvement.
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and implement effective solutions.
  • Experience with lean manufacturing principles and methodologies, such as Six Sigma or Kaizen, preferred.

Our client is seeking a Human Resources Manager to lead the HR department for the ~200 person plant. This role will be hands-on in nature supporting the day-to-day functions of HR, including recruiting, onboarding, talent management, coaching and development, employee relations, legal compliance and risk mitigation for a nonexempt and salaried employee population. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Direct and administer all aspects of the Human Resources function, including benefits administration, LOA, employee relations, talent management, policy and compliance and more
  • Deliver HR programs and initiatives to support the growing plant including, but not limited to: recruitment process, onboarding, workforce planning, safety program among other HR processes to align organizational values with business needs
  • Provide coaching and development to plant leaders and employees


  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, or related field
  • 3+ years of progressive HR experience 
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment, or similar industry 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Bilingual (Spanish-speaking), preferred
