SkyWater Search Partners is working with a $1T+ AUM investment management company to add a Senior Tax Counsel (Senior Director level) to its legal team in either Minneapolis, Charlotte, Boston, or New York.
An ideal candidate has at least 5-10 years of experience handling tax matters for asset management investment companies in either a law firm or in-house setting (if in-house, must be from a legal team and not finance or compliance teams). A strong candidate is comfortable advising asset managers on tax questions, establishing proper federal and state tax compliance, and developing policies and procedures related to RIC and hedge fund tax compliance.
The team is close-knit, and values work life balance and passions outside the office. The compensation is competitive, and the benefits are top-notch. This is a hybrid role, with a flexible 4 day in office policy.
