Equity Research Analysts (Generalist and Tech) for Small Cap Hedge Fund
| A $300 million long / short equity fund is seeking an Equity Research Analyst to work closely with its research team in a collaborative environment, with the opportunity to have immediate impact on the investment process. We are looking for a motivated self-starter capable of completing a variety of unstructured, ad hoc research requests on a wide range of topics. Ideal candidates would be highly quantitative with a strong background in financial modeling and accounting. Creative research and channel checking including tapping industry sources, business experts, and company executives in many different businesses and industries is desired.

| We are looking for someone with: A Demonstrated ability as a motivated self-starter capable of taking a basic set of directions and running with it. Strong attention to detail and ability to reach nuanced conclusions when evaluating a wide variety of businesses and industries. A skeptical and independently minded person willing to question consensus, spot exaggerations or lies, and determine if a specific investment is a compelling long or short opportunity.
