The Manufacturing Engineering Manager will oversee the manufacturing engineering, maintenance, and tooling functions while leading a team of 30 direct reports (mix of engineers & technicians). This person will also be responsible for resolving manufacturing line issues, looking for efficiencies & cost-savings opportunities, partnering with cross-functional managers & plant leadership on strategic initiatives, supporting new product development launches, and much more. We’re looking for an experienced manufacturing engineer with a background in the heavy machinery space (ag equipment, construction machinery, etc.) and ideally someone who has experience leading teams. Project Engineer
SkyWater is partnering with an existing client in the Sioux Falls area on a Project Engineer search! The Project Engineer will be responsible for working with customers on design projects while partnering with internal engineering groups throughout project lifecycles. This includes designing custom products, estimating project costs, setting up testing & validation of products, working with customers on design tweaks & changes and partnering with manufacturing & quality engineering teams throughout the production stage. The Project Engineer will work on longer life-cycle projects (1+ year) and will handle a project workload of around 10 projects at a time. We’re looking for an engineer with around 2+ years of project, applications or design engineering experience and someone who has experience working in the heavy equipment space (ag equipment, construction machinery, etc.).
