Manufacturing Engineer
We’re excited to a partner with a new family-owned industrial manufacturer in Southern Minnesota. We’re looking for a Manufacturing Engineer to join their team. This company suppliers engineering components for multiple industries like mining, agriculture, industrial equipment, and commercial cleaning sectors—making them a trusted partner.
In this role, you will work directly with an experienced engineering manager and cross-functional teams to design, improve, and scale production processes. You will lead continuous improvement initiatives, enhance safety and quality performance, support automation opportunities, and create the engineering documentation that drives efficiency across the plant.
Responsibilities
- Support production through process optimization, time studies, and workflow design
- Lead CI initiatives using Lean and structured problem-solving tools
- Own work instructions, routings, and manufacturing documentation
- Assist with capital equipment selection, justification, and installation
- Support new product introduction from the manufacturing readiness standpoint
- Contribute to ISO 9001 practices, audits, and corrective action efforts
Desired Skills and Experience
- Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- 1+ years of engineering experience
- Experienced working with LEAN manufacturing principles
- ISO9001 experience preferred
- Ability to prioritize work responsibilities and manage multiple tasks at a time.
- Strong communication skills (both verbal & written).
