Master Scheduler
SkyWater is partnering with a growing, small manufacturer based in the SW Metro of Minneapolis who’s looking to hire a Master Scheduler for their team! This is a newly created role driven by company growth and the need to improve production coordination and on-time delivery performance. This individual will own the scheduling function across the business, partnering closely with sales, production, and operations to align priorities & drive results. We’re looking for a planning/scheduling professional with around 5+ years of experience in manufacturing, strong analytical skills, and the ability to operate in a fast-paced, small company environment. Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain production schedules
- Analyze capacity, labor, and material constraints to ensure achievable plans
- Monitor schedule adherence and proactively identify risks to on-time delivery
- Partner cross-functionally with sales, production, engineering, and supply chain teams
- Manage incoming orders and align production priorities
- Track and report key KPIs (on-time delivery, lead times, throughput, etc.)
- Drive continuous improvement efforts related to scheduling and production efficiency
Desired Skills and Experience
- Around 5+ years of production scheduling, planning, or operations experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of capacity planning and production workflows
- Experience with ERP/MRP systems (SAP, Epicor, Oracle, etc.)
- Strong MS Excel and analytical/problem-solving skills
- Ability to work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environment
- APICS/ASCM certifications (CPIM, CSCP) are a plus but not required
