Plumbing Project Manager
We are a family-owned plumbing company that specializes in commercial/industrial projects. We perform a wide array of commercial projects including restaurants, daycares, dental clinics, and car dealerships. We also work on large industrial shell buildings with tenant build-outs that can include process piping or medical gas piping. We pride ourselves on hard work, innovation, and problem-solving skills to deliver projects on time and within budget.
Responsibilities
- Prepare accurate and competitive estimates for commercial plumbing projects by reviewing plans, specifications, and addenda. Perform detailed material takeoffs, labor projections, and equipment pricing to ensure complete and thorough bids
- Communicate with general contractors, suppliers, and subcontractors during the bidding process to clarify scope, confirm pricing, and ensure alignment with project requirements
- Attend pre-bid meetings and job walks as necessary to fully understand project scope and site conditions
- Develop and manage project budgets upon award. Track labor hours, material costs, equipment usage, and subcontractor expenses to maintain profitability.
Desired Skills and Experience
- 5+ years of commercial plumbing experience (field experience strongly preferred)
- 3+ years of estimating and/or project management experience in commercial construction
- Ability to read and interpret commercial plumbing plans and specifications
- Strong financial awareness and ability to track budgets and profitability
