Production Manager

We’re partnering with a returning client in the west metro to identify a Production Manager to lead and scale their manufacturing operations. This is a high-impact leadership role overseeing multiple assembly lines and a team of 30+ employees in a growing, engineering-driven environment. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership within electronics or industrial manufacturing, with experience supporting high-mix, prototype-oriented production and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
 

Responsibilities

  • Lead daily production operations across 10+ assembly and sub-assembly lines
  • Manage and develop a team of ~35 production employees (assemblers and technicians)
  • Own production scheduling, throughput, and on-time delivery performance
  • Partner closely with Engineering and Supply Chain on prototype builds and new product introduction (NPI)
  • Drive Lean manufacturing and continuous improvement initiatives (cycle time, quality, scrap, labor efficiency)
  • Oversee and improve production processes, workflows, and SOP execution
  • Ensure product quality standards and implement effective quality control programs
  • Lead site safety initiatives, compliance, and continuous improvement of safety programs
  • Hire, train, and develop production staff; manage performance and compensation decisions
  • Support company growth by scaling production capabilities and improving operational efficiency

Desired Skills and Experience

  • 5+ years of Production Manager or similar leadership experience
  • Experience leading teams of 20–35+ employees in a manufacturing environment
  • Background in electronics manufacturing or industrial assembly (highly preferred)
  • Experience in high-mix / low-to-mid volume production environments (not repetitive mass production
  • Strong, hands-on Lean / continuous improvement experience
  • Proven leadership ability with strong communication and team development skills
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with Engineering and Supply Chain
  • Safety leadership experience within a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Ability to operate in a fast-paced, growth-oriented environment with a high sense of urgency
