Production Manager
Our client is seeking a Production Manager to lead daily manufacturing operations within a fast-paced food production environment. This individual will oversee production teams, drive operational performance, and ensure the facility continues to scale efficiently while maintaining high standards around safety, quality, and production.
This is a highly visible leadership role within a growing organization and is ideal for a hands-on manufacturing leader who enjoys building teams, improving processes, and driving results on the production floor.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily production operations across manufacturing lines and shifts
- Manage and develop production supervisors and hourly manufacturing employees
- Drive safety, quality, productivity, and operational performance throughout the facility
- Ensure production schedules are executed efficiently while meeting customer demand and quality expectations
- Monitor and improve KPIs including labor efficiency, downtime, throughput, scrap, and OEE
- Partner cross-functionally with Quality, Maintenance, Planning, Warehousing, and Supply Chain teams
- Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on operational efficiency and waste reduction
- Maintain compliance with GMPs, HACCP, FDA, and sanitation standards
- Assist with staffing, scheduling, employee development, and performance management
- Help support operational growth, process improvements, and future manufacturing expansion initiatives
Desired Skills and Experience
- 5+ years of manufacturing leadership experience within food, beverage, dairy, frozen foods, or consumer packaged goods manufacturing
- Previous experience leading production supervisors and large hourly teams in a high-volume manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of food safety and quality systems within a regulated manufacturing setting
- Experience driving continuous improvement and KPI-focused manufacturing performance
