Project Manager
We are partnering with a growing, mission-driven landscape and ecological construction firm in the Twin Cities to hire a Project Manager to support their expanding installation division. This organization delivers complex commercial, municipal, and infrastructure projects that blend traditional landscape construction with native and restoration-focused work.
This role is ideal for a Project Manager with a background in commercial landscaping, turf/sod, or construction who is seeking broader project ownership, long-term growth, and work that values problem-solving and creativity.
Responsibilities
- Manage multiple installation projects from award through closeout
- Lead pre-construction planning, including scope review, scheduling, and budgeting
- Coordinate crews, subcontractors, and material procurement
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, general contractors, and inspectors
- Track project costs, schedules, change orders, and documentation
- Conduct site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety
- Collaborate with estimators and field leadership to ensure smooth project execution
- Support project closeout, documentation, and handoff to maintenance teams as needed
Desired Skills and Experience
- 3+ years of project management experience in commercial landscaping, construction, or related trades
- Experience managing budgets, schedules, and field operations on mid- to large-scale projects
- Strong communication skills and comfort working directly with general contractors and clients
- Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently in a fast-paced environment
- Proficiency with project management, scheduling, or estimating tools
- Experience with turf, sod, trees, shrubs, or site development preferred
- Exposure to native plantings, restoration, or erosion control preferred
