Real Estate Associate
A nationally recognized commercial real estate practice is seeking an associate with at least two years of experience to join its Minneapolis office. The practice represents developers, institutional investors, lenders, REITs, private equity funds, hospitality companies, and other sophisticated clients in complex transactions throughout the United States.
Qualifications:
- Active Minnesota attorney license required
- Minimum two years of experience in complex commercial real estate transactions
- Experience in purchase and sale, financing, and leasing; development and finance experience also welcome
- Desirable experience includes acquisitions and dispositions, commercial leasing, real estate finance, title and survey matters, joint ventures, and related transactional work
- Excellent academic credentials and strong research, writing, analytical, organizational, and communication skills
- Judicial clerkship experience welcomed
Role:
Associates will work directly with partners and clients with meaningful responsibility for drafting and negotiating transaction documents, managing due diligence, coordinating closings, and advising clients throughout the transaction process. The practice offers significant mentoring, training, and professional development opportunities. Associates collaborate across offices on sophisticated transactions nationwide and are encouraged to develop client relationships and assume progressive lead responsibility.
