Sales Manager – Data Center
Our client is a fast-growing, entrepreneurial company in a specialized infrastructure sector. They are seeking a hands-on Sales Manager to help drive the next phase of growth. With strong recent performance and a robust pipeline of large-scale projects, the business is evolving from founder-led sales into a more scalable commercial structure. The right person will lead from the front, personally driving revenue while helping shape and build a high-performing sales team over time. This position is best suited for a “player-coach” who thrives on winning new business while gradually taking on leadership responsibilities.
Responsibilities
- Own and drive new revenue generation
- Manage and close complex deals
- Work alongside a small team of sellers, with the opportunity to expand the team over time
- Contribute to building structure, process, and discipline within the sales function
- Act as a key partner to leadership as the organization scales
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline
- Navigating both shorter-cycle transactions and larger, multi-month projects
- Helping establish repeatable sales processes in a lean environment
Desired Skills and Experience
- Proven success in B2B new business development
- 5+ years of sales experience selling into data centers or construction
- 1-2 years of management experience is desired
- Experience with complex or technical sales environments
- Comfort working multi-stakeholder deals and relationship driven sales cycles
- A successful approach to pipeline, activity, and conversion
- Exposure to technical, industrial, or infrastructure related industries is preferred
