Senior Business Analyst (Manufacturing)
We are partnering with a midsize manufacturing company in the Twin Cities to hire a seasoned Business Analyst who can bridge the gap between business operations, product data, and technology. This is a newly created position reporting to the Applications Manager, with high visibility and significant interaction across business and IT leadership. The role will play a key part in improving product data quality, standardization, and governance while supporting major ERP and enterprise systems initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Partner with business and technical teams to gather requirements and improve data-related processes
- Develop standardized data models, taxonomies, hierarchies, and product definitions
- Identify data quality issues and drive cleanup, standardization, and process improvements
- Establish data governance practices, ownership standards, and quality controls
- Support enterprise system initiatives and help align business needs with technology solutions
Desired Skills and Experience
- 5+ years of experience in business analysis, product analysis, or data management
- Manufacturing industry experience with strong ERP exposure
- Experience working across product, operations, data management, and technology teams
- Knowledge of master data management, data quality, governance, and requirements gathering
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently across business and IT
