SkyWater Search Partners is representing a high-impact opportunity to join a successful, growth-oriented organization as the Human Resources Site Manager supporting a high-performing manufacturing plant of approximately 400 employees. This individual will serve as the senior HR leader on-site, working closely with plant leadership to drive business results through effective people strategies.

Acting as a true strategic partner, the HR Site Manager will lead all aspects of HR while fostering a strong, engaged, and compliant workforce. This role requires a hands-on leader who can operate both strategically and tactically, partnering with corporate HR to deliver scalable solutions aligned with business objectives.

Responsibilities

HR Leadership & Business Partnership -Serve as the lead HR partner for plant leadership, influencing decision-making and driving organizational effectiveness -Collaborate closely with senior leaders to develop and execute HR and talent strategies -Act as a member of the site leadership team, contributing to business strategy and operational success -Align HR initiatives with business goals to enhance performance and mitigate risk Talent Acquisition & Development -Lead full-cycle recruiting for exempt, professional, and leadership roles -Partner with leaders to define hiring needs and build strong talent pipelines -Support employee development, training initiatives, and succession planning Employee Relations & Compliance -Manage complex employee relations matters including investigations, discipline, and terminations -Administer leave programs, accommodations, and workers’ compensation claims -Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws Compensation, Benefits & HR Operations -Analyze compensation and benefits trends and recommend competitive programs -Oversee HR metrics, reporting, and data-driven decision-making -Ensure effective HR systems, recordkeeping, and process optimization Culture & Engagement -Promote a high-performing, inclusive, and engaged workplace culture -Coach and advise leaders on employee engagement and performance management -Drive initiatives that enhance retention and employee experience Additional -Partner with corporate HR on key initiatives and projects -Support change management, presentations, and business case development -Occasional travel (~5%) for site visits, training, and events

Desired Skills and Experience

-Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred -5+ years of progressive HR experience across multiple disciplines -5+ years of people leadership experience -Experience in a manufacturing or plant environment strongly preferred -Background in aerospace, defense, or similar industries a plus -Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement experience preferred Certifications SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or SPHR preferred (or ability to obtain within 1 year)
