Software Team Lead (Embedded/D0-178)
A leading avionics innovator in the Midwest is seeking a Senior Embedded Software Engineer / Technical Lead to drive development of mission-critical aircraft systems. This organization is experiencing rapid growth and is positioned to secure large-scale, multi-year aerospace programs.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead embedded software development for avionics systems (C, bare-metal)

Own DO-178 processes including requirements, verification, and certification

Provide technical leadership to a junior-heavy team

Drive architecture, development standards, and execution timelines

Collaborate cross-functionally with hardware and production teams
Desired Skills and Experience
- 6+ years embedded software experience - Proven expertise in DO-178 (required) - Strong C programming in embedded/microcontroller environments - Background in aerospace or similar regulated industries - Ability to lead technically in a hands-on environment
