Strategic HR Business Partner
SkyWater is partnering with a leading multi-state energy organization to hire a strategic HR Business Partner. This role partners closely with senior leadership to align business strategy with people strategy. Acting as a trusted advisor, this individual will serve as the connective tissue between the HR Centers of Excellence and their respective business groups to deliver high-impact talent solutions and facilitate cyclical talent programs.
This is a hybrid role with the opportunity to work remotely on Mondays and Fridays and the remained of the week onsite in Minneapolis.
Responsibilities
- Partner with senior business leaders to shape and execute talent strategies that elevate organizational performance and strengthen leadership capability
- Serve as a trusted strategic advisor across all areas of talent, leadership, and organizational effectiveness for assigned business groups
- Collaborate with HR Centers of Excellence to design and implement enterprise-wide talent solutions around workforce planning, performance management, total rewards, and talent management
- Leverage workforce analytics, employee insights, and external market benchmarking to identify trends, risks, and opportunities
- Lead and influence leadership development and executive coaching strategies tailored to evolving business needs
Desired Skills and Experience
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience, including 3+ years directly partnering with executive leadership
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
- Expertise across core HR disciplines, including organizational effectiveness, talent management, employee relations, performance management, total rewards, and employment law
- Preferred: SPHR or SHRM-SCP certification, MBA, or Master’s degree in HR, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, Organizational Development, or related field
