A globally sourced consumer products organization is seeking a VP of Supply Chain & Merchandising to lead product strategy, global sourcing, pricing, and supply chain performance. This executive will play a central role in improving margin performance, strengthening supplier partnerships, and ensuring alignment between product decisions and overall business objectives.

Reporting directly to the CEO, this leader will oversee global sourcing, product management, and pricing while working closely with operations, finance, and commercial leadership to enhance execution, profitability, and scalability.
This is a high-impact leadership role with direct influence on financial performance and long-term enterprise value.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead global sourcing, merchandising, and supply chain strategy, ensuring alignment with company growth and profitability objectives
  • Own pricing strategy and margin performance, establishing disciplined approaches to costing, pricing, and portfolio optimization
  • Build and strengthen supplier relationships globally, negotiating agreements and improving overall vendor performance
  • Provide leadership and direction to sourcing, product management, and pricing teams, developing talent and improving organizational capability
  • Drive alignment between product strategy, supply chain execution, and operational capabilities to improve efficiency and responsiveness
  • Improve inventory strategy, forecasting, and overall supply chain effectiveness to support service levels and working capital targets
  • Partner closely with executive leadership and cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for operational improvement and margin expansion

Ideal Candidate Profile

  • Executive or senior leadership experience in supply chain, merchandising, sourcing, or product leadership within a consumer or product-driven organization
  • Demonstrated success improving margins through pricing, sourcing, and product strategy initiatives
  • Strong global sourcing experience and vendor negotiation capability
  • Deep understanding of product lifecycle, costing, and supply chain dynamics
  • Proven ability to lead teams and drive alignment across operations, finance, and commercial functions
  • Strategic mindset combined with strong execution and leadership capability
  • Ability to travel 50% of the time
