Warehouse Supervisor
SkyWater is partnering with an established manufacturing organization in the north metro to hire a Warehouse Supervisor. Following a consolidation of multiple facilities into one operation, the company is focused on strengthening its processes, developing its workforce, and improving overall efficiency.
This position will lead approximately 8–12 employees across shipping, receiving, inventory control, and warehouse operations. The ideal candidate is a hands-on leader who enjoys working directly with employees, solving problems, and helping build a stronger team.
Responsibilities
- Lead daily shipping, receiving, warehouse, and material-handling activities.
- Supervise, coach, and develop approximately 8–12 warehouse employees.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, ERP transactions, and discrepancy resolution.
- Coordinate with logistics, purchasing, and planning to support customer and production requirements.
- Establish clear expectations for safety, productivity, and operational performance.
- Improve warehouse processes, organization, and standard work.
- Monitor key performance indicators, including inventory accuracy and on-time shipments.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Previous leadership experience in manufacturing, warehousing, distribution, or a related environment.
- Familiarity with inventory management, shipping/receiving, and ERP systems.
- Ability to lead from the floor and work effectively with employees across departments.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and organizational skills.
- Self-motivated approach with an interest in developing people and improving operations.
