Senior Associate, Construction

Jon Persico leads SkyWater Search Partners’ Construction practice, partnering with organizations across the Construction, Architecture, and Engineering landscape on full-time, permanent hiring needs.

Before focusing on Construction, Jon built his foundation supporting searches across Engineering, Operations, and Supply Chain, placing professionals in roles spanning technical sales, plant operations, safety leadership, and continuous improvement. That background gave him firsthand insight into how projects and facilities are planned, run, and kept moving, insight he now brings directly to construction leadership searches.

Jon works with organizations across a range of industries, including commercial and residential building, transportation, civil and structural engineering, mechanical and electrical systems, industrial, power, water and wastewater, manufacturing, telecom, and oil and gas.

Today, he focuses on the roles that keep projects on track: project management, operations, and field leadership, including superintendents, project managers, estimators, and operations leaders who can step in and make an immediate impact. As the industry faces a growing shortage of experienced leadership talent, Jon helps clients identify and secure the people who can actually run the job, not just staff it.

Jon takes a practical, relationship-driven approach to search, grounded in an understanding of both the technical requirements of the role and the organization’s long-term goals.

Outside of work, Jon enjoys taking on hands-on projects and brings that same builder mindset to everything he does, including building his own home.
