SkyWater is currently engaged with a $250mm community bank located here in the Twin Cities to find their next VP of Operations. This person will also evaluate and build the current team that reports to this role. This person will also be a part of the executive team driving the “Mission 430” which is their goal of significantly growing the bank.

This is a privately own bank as well, so decisions can be made quickly and autonomously, so this isn’t our typical banking environment. They are or course competitive when it comes to compensation as well as a full benefits package that is to be expected.

  1. Responsible for the oversight of all deposit operations in the Bank to ensure compliance with Bank policies and procedures, including but not limited to deposit operations functions, e-banking, cash management, and debit card programs. 
  2. Ensures the integration and accuracy of item processing to Bank information systems and customer accounts.  Supports all electronic services including wires, ACH, internet banking, remote deposit, ACH origination, and cash management services, etc.  Oversees and monitors the exception processing functions, requests for customer information, levy and garnishment processing, and other backroom operational functions including escheatment.
  3. Oversees the Banks Information Technology and Information Security systems and practices.  Directs and manages the Bank’s technology and data processing.  Acts as an administrator for network software access set up and testing.  Liaise with third party service providers and monitors and oversees their activities to ensure sound practices related to information technology and security.  Performs various IT and Cyber security risk assessments.
