SkyWater is partnering with a client in Mankato to find a Route Manager! This person will be responsible for overseeing a small team of drivers, leading/growing the team, maintaining schedules and managing daily route tasks. You’ll also ensure work environments are in compliance with all safety guidelines, initiate best practices for productivity and resolve any route issues as needed. We’re looking for someone with experience overseeing drivers or routes who can come in and hit the ground running leading & growing this team. Oversees daily operational tasks.
Plans, distributes, monitors, and follows-up on daily route assignments.
Monitors productivity, service, and safety standards for department.
Conducts root-cause investigations and looks for process improvements as needed.
Documents and maintains information required by regulatory agencies.
Other duties or projects as assigned.
High School Diploma (Associate’s Degree preferred).
3+ years of management experience (ideally overseeing drivers).
Strong communication skills (written and verbal).
Ability to prioritize and manage multiple responsibilities.
Specify production methods and design fixtures, tooling, and equipment required to manufacture the components and products of the company. Responsible for plant layout, paint processes, and standards in the production area.
Ability to implement plans; communicates changes effectively; builds commitments and overcomes resistance
Demonstrates accuracy and thoroughness and look for ways to improve and promote quality
Proven cost consciousness working within approved budget and implementing cost saving measures
Capable of developing strategies to achieve organizational goals and adapting strategies to meet changing conditions
Problem solving and analyses, careful and systematic evaluation of information, possible alternatives and consequences
Presentation skills, the ability to communicate to an audience in a formal setting
Thinks conceptually and intuitively, linking problems and symptoms to identify underlying issues and root causes
Makes sound decisions in a timely and confident manner

You’ll promote safety in the work environment and offer suggestions for improvements in processes. You’ll work with the IT team through cross-functional projects impacting those involved in operations, engineering, customer service and administrative teams.
